Trevor Donovan’s days on 90210 are numbered.

The 32-year-old actor will not be returning as a series regular when the hit CW show returns next fall, TV Line reports. (A spokesperson for the network declined to comment.)

“I look back on getting this real-life story line as a blessing,” Donovan, who joined the show in 2009, said in a statement. “To be able to simultaneously take on a challenging role and bring awareness to a relevant social issue was a win-win for me. I’m looking forward to what opportunities and adventures lie ahead.”

Donovan’s character was the subject of a major coming out storyline during the show’s third season: his character, Teddy, had previously dated Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) and Silver (Jessica Stroup) before beginning a relationship with Ian (Kyle Riabko).

Fortunately for Donovan’s fans, the actor tweeted that he will return as a guest star for “a handful of shows” when his costars’ characters begin college in season 4.

Working with Jessica Stroup was nothing short of amazing. She was inspiring throughout the shoot, always giving the camera the right looks, poses and expressions… We bonded over our love for natural light, and were able to explore the location’s perfect available light. We shot at a gorgeous residence in Beverly Hills and had a fantastic crew with us. It was one great day!

According to Shenae they will be graduating at the end of season three and in season four they will be attending college.

Jessica Stroup, of TV’s 90210, is joining Ted, THR stated in an exclusive report. The comedy, which will be directed by its co-writer Seth MacFarlane, follows “a man who as a young boy made a Christmas wish that his Teddy Bear would come to life and be his best friend forever. Twenty-five years later, the bear is still at his side, but has now evolved into a cursing, smoking, delinquent that is preventing the man from maturing.”

Stroup joins Mark Wahlberg (the grown man), Mila Kunis, Joel McHale, Giovanni Ribisi and Patrick Warburton. Ted will be Stroup’s first film since 2009′s Homecoming. Previously this year, she lent her voice to MacFarlane’s Family Guy.

MacFarlane’s Ted co-writers include Alec Sulkin (Family Guy producer and writer) and Wellesley Wild (The Late Show with Craig Kilborn and Family Guy writer).

According to Jessica’s IMDB, she is in this episode of Family Guy. No information on which character she voices but she is returning back to Family Guy this Sunday! Finally some news on Jessica!!!

90210 is losing the adults: Ryan Eggold and Lori Loughlin will not return next season, TVLine.com reports.

The actors’ contracts were not renewed because there will be less emphasis on teachers and parents in the fourth season, as most of the group will start college, according to the site.

Loughlin’s and Eggold’s characters — mom Deb Wilson and West Bev teacher Ryan Matthews — recently began a romance on the CW drama.

Their departures will follow that of Loughlin’s on-screen husband, Rob Estes, who exited after Season 2.
